The cost of each Top Up on Month-to-Month Plans is $13/GB or part thereof ($6.50 for a 500MB Top-Up or part thereof). The Billing Date for all $22 Pennywise, $25 Pennywise, $30 Pennywise, $35 Pennywise and $45 Pennywise Plans (Month-to-Month, 6 and 12-Month Plans), $45 and $74 Mammoth Plans will be set as the 1st day of the month and will run until the end of the calendar month. Usage for the first and last month will be pro rated to the first day of the month. The billing date for all other plans will be set to the date that the order is received.

About our Mammoth Plans

Our Mammoth plans are for those who want massive amounts of data without the heavy price tag. Unlike the rest of our plans which are on the 4G network, our Mammoth plans operate on the Optus 3G network. If you’re picky about having the fastest download speeds, one of our 4G plans might be better suited to you, but most users find 3G speeds more than sufficient for standard browsing.

All Mammoth Unlimited Talk and Text plans have access to the Optus 3G network only. Customers can remain connected on a Mammoth Unlimited Talk and Text Plan for a maximum period of 12-months, at which time, the service must be moved to an alternative plan.

What’s a Data Bump-up?

Data Bump-Ups reward great customers with extra data at no extra cost. They are our way of saying thank you for being a loyal customer.

Our latest Pennywise Plans are now available as Month-to-Month, 6-Month and 12-Month contracts. The longer term contracts have more included data than the Month-to-Month plans. If you sign up with us on a 6 or 12 month contract, you’ll start with a higher data allowance than if you choose month-to-month. But, if you’re the sort of person who’s worried about longer contracts, we understand! We’ll look after you by automatically bumping-up your data to the next level (at no extra charge) when you stay on your plan for more than 6 months, and then again when you stay for longer than 12-months.

In order to qualify for the Data Bump-Up program, you must:

  • Sign up to one of our new Pennywise Plans (launched from August 2017) and remain on one of these plans for longer than 6 months to qualify for the First Tier and 12-months.
  • You must have an active direct debit on your account (either a current valid credit card or bank account) at all times
  • Your account must be paid in full every month (ie – you have no outstanding balance, dishonours, or failed transactions)

Any plans launched prior to August 2017 do NOT qualify for Auto Data Bump-Ups

When do I receive my Data Bump-Up?

If you are on a qualifying plan, your data inclusion will automatically be bumped-up to the next level after the 6-month anniversary of your connection on that plan, and again after the 12-month anniversary of your connection to that plan (ie – your next billing month will include the higher data inclusion).

For example, say you are connected to the $35 Pennywise Month-to-Month SIM Plan (with 10GB included monthly data). On the 7th month you will receive – at no extra charge – the equivalent of the data inclusion for the $35 Pennywise 6-month Contract SIM Plan (11GB). This data inclusion will remain on your plan until you pass the 12-month anniversary, at which time you will be automatically bumped-up to the data inclusion in the $35 Pennywise 12-Month Contract SIM plan (12GB). this will become available on your plan on the 13th month and will remain in place from that point onwards.

What if I am on a 6-Month Plan?
If you sign-up to any of our eligible 6-Month Pennywise Plans, your monthly data inclusions will automatically be bumped-up to the 12-month Plan inclusion once your service has been connected for more than 6-months (ie – on the 7th month you will receive – at no extra charge- the equivalent of the data inclusion for your plan).
What if I am on a 12-Month Plan?
Congratulations! By selecting one of our qualifying 12-Month Pennywise Plans you are receiving the maximum data for your plan from the day that you connect with us, therefore no further Data Bump-Ups apply to 12-Month Pennywise Plans.
What happens if I forget to pay my invoice on time?

All qualifying Pennywise Plans must be paid by Direct Debit (either by credit card or from a bank account) at all times. This makes it easy for you to ensure that your account is always paid on time.

We will send you reminders by SMS 3-days before your payment is due to be processed (from your credit card, or bank account), to help you to ensure that you have the funds available to pay your invoice. We will also send you reminders when your credit card is due to expire. You can also check that your credit card details are correct and update them online by logging into your MyJeeneeMobile account. If your account falls into arrears, you will not qualify for automatic Data Bump-Ups.

What happens if I change plans?
As long as you transfer to a qualifying plan, and your account is paid in full at all times, via a valid credit card or bank account, you will still automatically receive the Data Bump-Up when you pass either the 6-month or 12-month anniversary of the initial connection to a qualifying Pennywise plan.

Am I locked into a contract when I sign up?

We offer a range of plans to suit any need.

Our popular Month-to-Month plans A have a contract term of just one month. This means that if you are not completely happy with the service we offer, you can call us to cancel your service at any time. You will only have to pay the remaining balance for the months that you have used. There are no extra costs or fees associated with cancelling your Month-to-Month service with us.

We also offer plans with higher monthly data inclusions on 6 and 12-month contracts. These plans are fixed term agreements which will incur Early termination Fees if you leave Jeenee before the end of the contracted term or if you downgrade your plan by moving to a plan with a lower minimum monthly charge. See the Critical Information Summary (CIS) applicable for each plan for further details.

Can I keep/transfer my existing mobile number?
Yes, it’s free to transfer your existing phone number from any carrier to Jeenee Mobile. All you need to do is give us a few details, either over the phone or during the online checkout, and we’ll contact your old carrier for you and request that your number be transferred to us.
Do I have to cancel my service with my current provider to transfer across to Jeenee Mobile?
No you don’t. Jeenee Mobile requires an active number to be able to transfer across to our service. Once you call to activate your number, our porting team will contact your current provider to transfer your number and cancel your service for you.
What happens after I put through an order with you?

You will receive a confirmation email to the email address you provided during checkout. We will then process your order and perform an identity and credit check. If your application is approved, we will send out a SIM card and information package to you, and send you an SMS to let you know that your package has been sent out.

Once you receive your SIM, you will need to activate it by calling us on 1300 054 631 before you can make calls. The activation process usually takes less than 5 minutes. Your billing month will start as soon as we send the SIM card out to you, so it’s important that you call to activate your SIM as soon as possible after you receive it. You will then start receiving bills for your service each month, delivered to the email address you provided.

On the occasion that there is a problem with your application, such as problems with the identity or credit check, we will call to advise you of the problem and go through the necessary steps to get your application approved.

Can I make international calls?
Yes! You can make international calls on Jeenee Mobile plans. Some plans come with monthly International Call Allowances included. You can see whether your plan comes with international calls by looking at the CIS for your plan. Jeenee Mobile does not offer international roaming on any of our plans.
What's the difference between 4G and 3G networks?
Both 3G and 4G networks connect your phone to the internet, allowing you to upload and download data to your phone. The only major difference is that 4G does this faster than 3G. For most users, 3G speeds are sufficient for standard browsing, however if you want the extra-fast download speeds that 4G offers, we’d recommend choosing one of our 4G plans.
What happens if I go over my data allowance?

All of our latest plans (launched in August 2017) include automatic Top Ups in which extra data will be added automatically once you reach your allowance. This means you can keep using your service even if you go over your allowance, without having to call us and manually add extra packs to your service. The size and cost of the top up, as well as the maximum number of top ups that can be added per month depends on your plan. You can log in to MyJeeneeMobile to view plan-specific details about top ups for each service you have with us.

If you choose, you can turn off top ups at any time, either online or by calling us. If you choose to turn top ups off, your usage will be restricted once you reach 100% of your initial allowance for voice, data or SMS. Please keep in mind that this restriction is subject to a network delay of up to 24 hours, and is not guaranteed to bar exactly on your limit. Any excess you’ve used over your limit will be charged at the applicable rate, as found in your plan’s CIS.

If you’ve signed up for a plan after August 2017, your plan will already have top ups enabled by default. Plans released before this can’t have top ups applied to them. For details of excess data charges on older plans – please see the relevant CIS. If you are on an older plan and want to use top ups, you’ll need to change to one of our more recent plans.
