Jeenee Mobile has partnered with Deaf Australia to develop a text only plan specifically tailored to meet the needs of the Deaf community. Together we've developed our $15 Unlimited Text SIM, with a set of features designed to make this plan as accessible as possible - no included voice calls, automatic voice-to-text voicemail and a PIN identification option for easy account management.

Previously, Deaf Australia and many members of the Deaf community have had to negotiate with telecommunications providers to get a tailored mobile plan that suits their needs. At times, the outcomes of these negotiations have been unsatisfactory with many Deaf consumers having to pay for mobile voice services that never get used. We are proud to be able to offer a solution to this problem, to help all members of society stay connected.

PIN Identification

We've expanded our identification and security options for all our customers by adding the option for you to choose a PIN to access your account. Your account can then be accessed using your full name, PIN number and one other detail (such as birth date or home address). If you require third party assistance in managing your account, you can provide them with your PIN and details, and they will be able to make any changes to your account on your behalf. You won't need voice verification to access your account, and you can easily change your account details via an interpreter.

Please note that anyone you give your PIN number to has full access to your account (including the ability to make financial changes). Please keep it safe and use it wisely.

Voice to Text Voicemail

The Voice to Text voicemail feature converts spoken voicemail messages to text, and sends them to your phone as an SMS. This means Deaf or hard of hearing people can receive and read all messages sent to them on their phone. This feature comes automatically enabled on all $15 Unlimited Text SIM plans.

Things you need to know

The Unlimited Text SIM has a 1-month contract term. An upfront $10 set-up fee applies for each service, which includes delivery. A standard national call to any Australian mobile for 2 minutes including flagfall costs $2.20 (all calls are billed in 60 second increments). A standard national text costs $0.25 per message. Data is counted in kilobytes (KB) and includes both uploads and downloads. After you've used your monthly Included Data Allowance, each megabyte (MB) of excess data within Australia costs $0.04/MB (additional Data Packs are available at an extra cost).


Every connection with Jeenee Mobile counts towards donated services for people living with disabilities. Jeenee Mobile donates 1 free $15 Light SIM Pack service with 24/7 HELP Package to a person living with disability who has either nominated themselves, or been nominated by a family member or friend as part of the Make a Difference Program. Each month Jeenee Mobile sets a target for donated services to be distributed at the end of that month. There's no limit to the number of services donated, the more SIM Packs connected, the more free services we can donate through our Make A Difference Program.


Calls to 1800 numbers are free. International calls cannot be made on Jeenee Mobile plans. All our SIM packs are month to month contracts. If you wish to cancel your plan with us you can do so at any time, simply by paying the remaining balance for that month and any outstanding charges.
